BRADLEY, Judge. The appeal is from a decree of the Circuit Court of Blount County awarding custody of a six year old male child to its father.
Appellant-mother had petitioned the court to award her permanent custody of the child with reasonable visitation privileges
in the father. Appellee-father answered the petition by denying that the best interests of the child would be served by permanent
custody being awarded to the appellant-mother, and then filed a cross-petition asking that permanent custody be placed in
him. The two petitions were heard on August 20 and 23, 1973, and on August 28, 1973 the trial court awarded permanent custody
of the child to the appellee-father. An appeal has been taken to this court wherein appellant contends that the decree should
be reversed for that it is unsupported by the evidence and that the trial court erred in placing in the record a statement
of the substance of a private interview it had with the child.
